NeverGap vs. Booksy

Keep the 30%. Keep your clients.

Booksy is built around its marketplace, and Boost charges 30% of a new client's first visit (up to $100) when Booksy sends them to you. NeverGap has no marketplace and never takes a cut: your link, your clients, one flat price from $9/month.

14-day Pro trial · No commissions on your bookings, ever

An honest comparison. Booksy's marketplace can genuinely bring new clients, and Boost is optional. If you need to be discovered, it can be worth it (we say where, below). Figures reflect Booksy's publicly listed rates as of October 2026; check current pricing on their site before you decide.

Pick the right tool for you

Neither is right for everyone.

Choose NeverGap if…

You already have clients.

  • Most of your bookings come from regulars, referrals and Instagram, not a marketplace.
  • You want to stop wondering which clients a platform counts as "theirs".
  • You want a free plan, or one flat $9 or $19 with no per-staff charge.
  • You want your waitlist to name the exact opening and link straight to it.

Choose Booksy if…

You need to be found.

  • You're new in town and need a marketplace to send you strangers.
  • You're happy to trade 30% of a first visit for that exposure.
  • You want a client app where people browse many shops.

Common questions

How much does Booksy Boost cost?

For US pros, Boost charges 30% of a new client's first visit when Booksy brings that client to you, with a $10 minimum and a $100 maximum per first visit. Booksy says later visits from that client are commission-free. The subscription is $29.99/month plus $20 per extra staff member. NeverGap charges no commission at all.

Is NeverGap a good Booksy alternative?

Yes, if most of your clients already know you. NeverGap gives you your own booking page, deposits, reminders and a waitlist on every plan, with no commission ever. If you rely on a marketplace to find new clients, Booksy may still be worth keeping.

Can I bring my Booksy clients over?

Yes. Export your client list from Booksy as a CSV and import it in NeverGap under Clients. The importer reads Booksy, Square, Vagaro, Fresha, Acuity and Calendly column names automatically. Then swap your Instagram bio link to your NeverGap page.

Do my clients need an app?

No. Clients book from your link in any browser, with no account and no download.
